just watch this vid he made for the "It Gets Better" movement. [link] now, while i'm not gay, i still identify with his message a LOT. i was a bit of an outcast as a kid (big surprise, huh?
cause i'm such a conventional person) and i really never felt as if i fit in anywhere, either. *still don't, tbph* but, like John says: that's OK. being an individual is good. each one of us is a 'different color in the rainbow'
sometimes i try to get this point across to some of my younger watchers & fellow artists who seem hell-bent on pleasing everyone EXCEPT themselves. sure, it's fine to ask for opinions on how to improve your technique or whatever, but above all you should be true to yourself. that's my humble opinion, anyway 
but then i suppose, like John, i've had longer to figure out who i am & accept myself, whether other people do or not. so the phrase IT GETS BETTER really does apply to more than one type of personality and/or lifestyle ♥ok, enough with the serious shtuff already: here's some fabulous Poppycock-inspired fanarts i've compiled to share with you guys ~ENJOY~

I also relate to that video... You don't have to be LGBT to really understand what he's getting at. Things always get worse before they get better, but you just gotta let 'em! It's no fun being an outcast, but if it means you can eventually make a difference for other outcasts... it can't be all bad. <:3
