every weekday morning my uncle and i watch old game shows on GSN, our fave being The Match Game =3 which was one of my faves when i was a youngun and totally explains my love of and fascination with the FABULOUS i blame it all on Charles Nelson Reilly and Paul Lynd (if you don't know them, GO LOOK 'EM UP) who were two of my favorite guests stars. (even now, i get disappointed if CNR isn't on Match Game i'll still watch, but it's just not as interesting)

so anyway i thought it would be fun to ask y'all who're some of your fave FABULOUS MEN? (real or fictional) and to do my own list & explain what about/why i love them so much (and let me just say this: if you're a homophobe and wanna use this to bash gays OR on the other hand think this is being disrespectful to gays somehow, you can simply right nao. kthnxbai don't let the virtual door hit yer arse on the way out)


in no particular order, i give you my MOST FAVORITE FABULOUS MEN EVAR list

JAMES from Pokemon: not sure he's gay b/c he and Jesse are supposedly married in the future, but he's still FABULOUS in my book. (not all fabulous guys are gay/vce versa) among other things: the dramatic gestures, the rose in the mouth, always wearing dresses, and the willingness to get a boob job for a disguise. also THAT VOICE. 'nuff said <3

BIG GAY AL from South Park: he's simply effing SUPER, thanx for asking. he's funny and a great singer. he wears the best scarves ever. and he helped the kids get rid of the pedo Boy Scout Leaders that took his place for awhile <3 (BGA was fired b/c the parents didn't want a gay guy around their sons. DUMBASSES)

  PATRICK "KITTEN" BRADEN from Breakfast on Pluto: hmm, let's see what do i love about this character? 1) played by Cillian Murphy 2) looks prettier in a dress than most women 3) walks better in heels than i ever could 4) CILLIAN MURPHY 5) just a genuinely sweet person, despite everything that happened to him in life (mostly b/c his mother was a mega-biotch, just sayin) and finally 6) CILLIAN MUTHAHFLIPPIN MURPHY <3<3<3

  CASTOR from Tron Legacy: dear gawd where do i start? i mean what's NOT fabulous about Castor for chis'sakes!? the calling Sam Flynn 'pretty miss', the up onstage dancing while everyone else was fighting, the sparkly stuff on his skin, not to mention those eyes. Michael Sheen took that role and drove it all the way to ham heaven <3

  DEMON LORD GHIRAHIM from LoZ Skyward Sword: my first experience with him in the Skyloft Temple had me (not to mention my Link) going like let's just say i found him quite disturbing. and yet, i was completely fascinated by him; interesting new villain, oozing with FABULOUS, and the whole diamond thing got me researching some things in the Zeldaverse that went with other stuff i had suspected for awhile. also: disturbing or not, he's just so damned PRETTY i'm such a sucker for pretty men in tights...<3

  LORNE from Angel the Series: ok, so he prolly is my fave out of them all. you'd expect a guy named Krevlorneswath of the Deathwok Clan to be this big, tough, primative dude in animal skins or something (like some of his family back on Pylea) instead, we get a snappy dresser who wears colors most people never heard of and can carry a (show)tune like no one's business. then there's the hosting of his own bar where eveyone, good or evil, is welcome to come in and take a load off. did i mention he's empathic and can read your soul when you sing to him? oh and once you get to know him and see how gentle, kind, and warmhearted he is, you kind of forget he has green skin and red horns <3<3<3<3

_{honorable mentions: Freddy Mercury and Nathan Lane. i heart them as well but seeing as my list was all fictional characters...so yeah.}

my good buddie is doing a feature-thingie and i've been wanting to do one for awhile anyway so ima put it here and add to it~if you want featured let me know. the catch (ALWAYS A CATCH DERR) is: you have to do something NICE for someone else. it doesn't have to be a feature or even here on dA. i don't care what you do just do some completely random nice thing for someone else on Earth w/o expecting a "reward" (b/c often, doing something unselfish is it's OWN reward)
